TONE Superfood Protein Balls
My favorite nourishing bite for glow, energy, and feeling grounded throughout the day.
These protein balls are one of those recipes I come back to again and again... comforting, energizing, and so simple to keep on hand during the week. They’re filled with superfoods and feel-good ingredients that truly support my body: healthy fats, a touch of natural sweetness, and the perfect chewy texture. I love grabbing one between sessions, after a Pilates flow, or anytime I want something that feels both delicious and nourishing. It’s such a small ritual, but it makes me feel taken care of from the inside out.

TONE WELLNESS · NUTRITION
I started making these protein balls for my own nourishment… something simple, grounding, and full of feel-good ingredients. They quickly became the thing I always keep on hand. Think of them as a small daily act of self-care you can grab anytime you need energy, balance, or a boost.
Ingredients
Makes 12–14 balls · No baking required
Base
-
1½ cups rolled oats
-
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
-
1 tablespoon chia seeds
-
1 tablespoon hemp seeds
-
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
-
½ teaspoon cinnamon
-
Pinch of sea salt
-
½ cup nut butter (almond, cashew, or peanut)
-
¼ cup raw local honey
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix-Ins
-
¼ cup mini chocolate chips
-
¼ cup goji berries
-
¼ cup dried cherries, chopped
-
2 tablespoons roasted sunflower seeds
How to Make It
-
Add the oats, flaxseed, chia seeds, hemp seeds, protein powder, cinnamon, and salt to a large mixing bowl.
-
Stir in the nut butter, honey, and vanilla extract until a thick, sticky dough forms.
-
Fold in the chocolate chips, goji berries, dried cherries, and roasted sunflower seeds.
-
Roll the mixture into small balls using your hands (about 1 heaping tablespoon each). *Keep hands wet with water.
-
Place on a parchment-lined tray and chill for 20–30 minutes before enjoying.
💛 If the mixture feels dry, add a tiny drizzle of honey. If it feels too sticky, add 1–2 tablespoons of oats.
TONE Tip
I love making a batch of these at the start of the week so I always have something nourishing to reach for. If you want them softer, warm your nut butter slightly before mixing. For extra crunch or extra nutrition, add more sunflower seeds or a sprinkle of cacao nibs. Make it your ritual.
